WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Gothenburg, Sweden,

Last year, we gringos knew all about the Slalom Worlds because those stoke-fueled Downhillbillies were hosting and promoting the races right here in North America. The tales of racing, local hospitality and the courses were epic. This year, we’re forced to admit the Worlds almost slipped by us at the ‘Fish, but they’re this weekend and promise a weekend of ripping speed and head-to-heads between the best skaters in the world…
How The Competition is Run
Giant Slalom: Two training runs. Two runs each, best time counts. Prize Money for Pro Division: 1) 900 Euro, 2) 600 Euro. 3) 300 Euro. (Not too shabby?)
